Jigawa
Jigawa State was recognised for attaining widespread Open Defecation Free (ODF) status, marking a significant public health milestone. The achievement reflects sustained investment in sanitation, hygiene and community-led interventions aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of residents.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
The Federal Ministry of Education successfully coordinated the resumption of the National Learning Assessment (NLA) across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory—the first nationwide learning assessment since 2019. The exercise provides critical data to strengthen education policy, improve learning outcomes and guide evidence-based decision-making.
